Dr. Neal is a 1995 graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. He joined his father, Barry Ligon, at EBAH in 2000 after practicing small animal medicine in Maryville and Knoxville for 5 years. Dr. Neal enjoys both medicine and surgery, but his special interest is clinical pathology, cytology. Dr. Neal is the father of three, but he never excludes his goldendoodle, “Luna” from his family descriptions since she “teaches us all about having a good attitude and showing unconditional love.” When he is not working, Dr. Neal enjoys camping and fishing with his family.
